One hour for the wedding ceremony and 4 hrs for the reception are allocated. Live music and serving of alcoholic beverages end at 9:30 PM. Reception ends at 10 PM. Bridal party and their guests staying at the inn may retire into the East Porch to celebrate and socialize privately for an extra hour.
There are nearby venues and pubs the party may move to after the reception and there is a taxi service after hours

The Tile Pavilion is spacious to hold both the ceremony and the reception. You will not need to rent a tent.
Your wedding and reception may be as elegant or laid-back as you want. Our chef will cater to your wishes. We have catered theme-based parties including Spanish, Brazilian, Turkish, German, Mediterranean Medley, Eastern Carolina Bar-b-cue, and 50’s Black-tie and Kids-Only.
No. All food is cooked and catered from our own commercial kitchen. No exceptions due to sanitation issues except for the wedding cake. Mélange routinely receives one of the highest sanitation grades as a restaurant from county inspection.
You can provide wine, champagne and beer, Mélange provides all dedicated stemware coolers, ice, napkins, bottle disposal. In turn you are charged a corking fee based on actual consumption.
You can bring liquor, Mélange provides all the mixes, juices, ice, citrus and cherries and dedicated glassware. There will be a corking charge based on per person.We will also help you to get a temporary permit.

There is parking for more than 15 cars on the premises. Overflow parking for another 25-30 cars is permitted on Melange curb side of both Fifth Avenue and Blythe Street. Big weddings can bus overflow guests from City PArking Lot 0.6 mi away.
Typically, time allocated for a wedding is 5 hours including the ceremony and reception. Extra hour beyond this duration available at extra charge.
