Your Wedding at the Melange
Venues
Our forte at the Mélange is that there are plentiful of venues we offer for every celebration and season. Each of these locations comes with a distinct flavor of its own and would accommodate a diverse size of groups and themes. Getting to wander around is what guests love while you can custom stage your wedding flow and pictures.
Traditionally, outdoor wedding ceremonies take place on either the Pan Fountain Lawn or the Matisse Fountain Lawn. Smaller nuptials are hosted on the Mediterranean Court and East Porch. These venues lead to and merge into the covered outdoor reception area, the Tile Pavilion. You may get married on one venue, have a receiving line or an interlude on another and a reception on a third; all without leaving the premises!
Where a roof above is necessary, the Tile Pavilion is versatile to host both the wedding ceremony and the reception. It may be heated into late Fall and early Winter. Where your smaller, more intimate event calls for Winter coziness and eclectic decor, the whole first floor of the historic home will be your venue.
Pan Fountain Lawn and Patio
Nestled between lush greenery, a rose garden and the main house, this two-level grass and patio combination is the perfect site for the intimate wedding ceremony. The Romanesque arbour with its antique bronze pan fountain is a splendid backdrop for exchanging vows. This venue personifies the charm of a typical courtyard scene from southern Europe.
